How Do I Post Videos From My Mobile Phone?

If you have a mobile phone that can record video and send email, you've got an awesome way to update your friends on what you're doing and where you are on 12seconds!

Here's how to do it:

1. Make sure you know the email address that your cell phone sends email from. This is the email address that is displayed in the "From" field when you send email from your phone.

If you don't know what it is, a good way to find out is to send an email from your phone to another email address that you use and then look at what the "From" email address is. It may be your regular email or it could use your phone number like this: 123456789@mms.att.com (example)

2. Sign in to 12seconds.tv and click on the Settings link in the nav bar on the top right of the page.

3. Click the edit tab

4. Click the "Personal Info" link

5. Enter your phone email address in the form that says "Video Email Address:"

6. Click Submit

That's all you need to do to set up.

Now just record a video on your phone and email it to this address: 12@12seconds.tv

Your video will be posted to your account.

If your video is longer than 12 seconds long, the system will just use the first 12 seconds of your clip.
