Under 18 but can enter?
Hi Mountain Dew. I'm under 18, but I'm a true fan of Mountain Dew. I would like to enter the DEWmocracy commercial contest, though I know I'm under the allowed age. I've been really excited about the contest ever since I heard about it, and I think I've created a really good commercial. Can I please enter the contest? I would like an answer from the official people in charge of the competition. Please respond. Thanks.

Inappropriate?It's not a matter of creativity. It's a matter of legality. You might very well have an awesome commercial, but due to the legal issues with minors and contests (taxes, etc.), there's just no way they'll allow your entry.
My only advice would be to have a parent enter your video for you under their name. That way, at least we could see your vid!

Inappropriate?I figured it was legal, but my mom advised not to have one of my parents enter for me as it would be dishonest. I guess I'll do that.

Inappropriate?Hey.. sorry for the late reply on this.. it's a legal thing, but yeah - have your parents enter for you i guess. I can only answer on behalf of 12seconds though -- you'll need to contact mountain dew to get an official response.
