Is this your work computer or somewhere that might be restricted from installing applications? Many computers have issues installing flash when an administrator blocks installation or the account in use does not have administrator privileges.

You can also just try going to adobe.com and downloading the flash installer yourself.

I am at home computer and regulary use flash players all day long with no trouble. All browsers are crashing when I try to record now, IE Firefox, Chrome. I did download Adobe 10 from their site and it did not help.
