Bowtie memory usage in Snow Leopard w/ no Bowlet?
Have you noticed a memory leak on Bowtie in Snow Leopard (10.6.1)? I just realized that Bowtie was using 200+ mb of RAM. Restarted it just now (at 29.4) and it's already back up to 55.
I am NOT complaining, just wondering what other people had experienced. For reference when Bowtie was at 200+, iTunes was at 105, and Bowtie was using more RAM than anything else running. I have it set to no dock icon, hide Bowlet, am just using it for growl display and Last.fm integration.

Inappropriate?I have observed the strange behavior, and I'm still investigating into what exactly might be causing it. I make no promises, but I'll definitely do what I can to make sure memory usage remains a bit more stable in future versions. :)

Inappropriate?Thank you! If there's anything I can do to help let me know. It, right now, after being on for ~1 hr, is at 133 MB, which is more (again) than iTunes. I am sure it's on your list, just let me know if I can help you track down the issue.
I’m happy.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem, Itunes uses about 60MB of ram and Bowtie uses about 80MB on average. Why would bowtie use more ram than itunes? And when bowtie has a memory leak, I've seen it hit 500MB of ram
Edit: After checking, the more you switch songs, the faster the ram usage will climb.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I've seen it climb up to nearly 1GB of memory after playing an entire album. No idea what could possibly causing it, but it's an issue that desperately needs to be fixed. Album art runs maybe 256K per song, so it couldn't be caching of album art. Unfortunately it seems I'll have to stop using Bowtie until this is fixed, as it bogs my system down like crazy.
I’m frustrated
