Inappropriate? In order to attach a file to a collection, you have to click the "Attach" button on the files viewer (see image).
I suspect you have tried to use the "Save as attachment" menu option, which does something else... (Allows you to scan another document to the same collection).
Indeed it's a confusing interaction, and we'll think of another solution for this.
Anyhow - what you're looking for is the Attach button, which unless we have a weird bug - should do the work.
I’m hoping this is not a serious bug...

Im allready doing it that way and it does not seem to work for me, I will try to explain again. I want to scan a Cover from a DVD then attach the ISO file, i have made from the DVD, it is not a problem to import the cover as an image file, but when I attach the ISO file, the Cover disappear and the ISO file is the only one in the container -
Inappropriate?Did you try to select 'My scanned pages' item ?
Please send a screen shot after ISO attachment. -
Inappropriate?I dont understand if Im doing something wrong, here are screenshots
first I add an image then a ISO file
I’m Frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I just figured it out you have to Attach both files, I think this is a wird way to do it, it should be that you import an image then you attach a file
I’m happy
-
you don't have to attach both you can use import, read my latest posting.
you need to click 'My scanned pages' at the bottom. -
Inappropriate?OK - I understand now...
In the bottom you can see the 'files viewer' it contain 2 lines - the first is 'My scanned pages' and the second is 'AnyDVD'.
These are the files of your new collection.
If you will select 'My scanned pages' you could see the image again.
The viewer display what you select at the bottom.
If you select 'AnyDVD' nothing will be displayed but you can 'Open','Email', 'Rename', etc.. the 'AnyDVD' file
Does that answer your question ? -
Inappropriate? Thanks I see it now, but i still think that the image should appear, because this is what indicates what is attached.
I have a new question, i want to move the 42tags folder to my NAS and i did move it then open 42tags again but is does not promt me to find the new location
-
Inappropriate?Make sure that the original location does not appear.
Make a search of '42Tags' so you can be sure you moved the right folder.
I’m happy
