Can I batch scan multiple, unrelated documents and then break up the collection?
I'd like to be able to use 42Tags to scan in multiple pages of unrelated items using my ADF (for example, some credit card bills, a car repair invoice, a business letter, medical and insurance claim documents) and then tag those documents as appropriate ("Dental Insurance," "95 Suburban," "Cell Phone Bill." I know I can batch scan into a collection, but how can I break that collection apart, or do I even need to?
Thanks, Jim
Thanks, Jim

Inappropriate?Hello Jim
You have 2 options (at least...) :
Option #1
1. You scan all your documents into a single file (e.g. 'My scanned pages')
2. Open the 'reorder-pages' tool button (see a "1-2" icon above the image viewer)
3. Now you can select all correlated pages and then select copy (control-c), you can paste these images on any collection, you can even start a new one and just click the viewer and press (control-v) to paste
Option #2
1. You scan all your documents into a single file (e.g. 'My scanned pages')
2. Right click the file in files explorer (below image viewer) and press duplicate several times (each time you will create a file).
3. From the first file, delete all pages which aren't relevant for the first category (you can delete multiple pages easily by opening the reorder pages and then select pages to delete and press control-x).
3. From the second file, delete all pages which aren't relevant for the second category (you can delete multiple pages easily by opening the reorder pages and then select pages to delete and press control-x).
4. Select the file on files explorer (by clicking on it) and press control-C, you can paste it to any other collection as a separate file or to combine to other file.
Please ask, any more questions if unclear.
Thanks for using 42Tags!
Shimon
