Vista x64, does it work?
Installed songbird remote v1.1.0.38 on my PC running Vista x64 Ultimate and on the iphone, they are connected to same network and have disabled firewall on my PC but still not seeing each other, any other troubleshooting I can preform?

Inappropriate?You can try installing Bonjour (Zero Config) for windows.

Inappropriate?i have 64bit vista and have the same problem. installed bonjour and still have the same problem, it just sits on the loading screen. i have the latest version of remote and songbird installed. i have itunes remote and vlc remote installed and both work fine. firewall is set to allow bonjour and songbird. any more ideas? -

Inappropriate?My understanding is the user was using "Songbird Remote 1.0 (free), which is now working for the user, with the 1.1 update.
