Saving data to iPhone
Does evernote for iphone allow for local storage of data? This is the dealmaker for the other clients; the fact that I can access my items when offline. If I wanted to review a list of names while on a flight or wanted to read from a pre-written statement in a place with low/no signal, it only makes sense to have this available.
There's obviously an issue with data charges, so perhaps this should be off by default but able to be changed.

Inappropriate?I think Evernote for the iPhone is a fantastic program, but for many, like me the inability to consult ones notes when the Internet is not available would be a killer. All that would be required to solve this would be to provide the iPhone/touch app with a setting to synch on demand like the Mac program.
I think, too, that many people would feel more comfortable committing to the system if they were able to back up their Evernote notebooks to their Mac/PC, and read these back-ups into the Mac/PC Evernote programs. Surely this would not be too difficult to provide
