Why can't Evernote capture (and send) text from whiteboard screenshots?!?

We started using Evernote at work two weeks ago to catalogue screen shots from whiteboarding sessions. Great, so far.

Does anyone know if Evernote has the capability to generate text from screen shots of handwritten notes? Or if such a feature is under development?
