Okay, okay so I thought I wouldn't do this like everyone else because sometimes it sounds like self promotion when someone says come and look at my site to get people to buy their wares or sign up... I don't feel that's the proper use of this forum. I do know there are the majority who are wishing to get positive feedback and such a thing is good and beneficial to help better their sites. To use us all as sounding boards and get advice is why we are all here Right??? The Customer service here is the best around and without their help many sites would not be as great as they are. I wish that maybe someday soon I will see others submitting the banners that they make so that we all can see the results.

I have no sign up page and unless you are independently wealthy I don't think you will be bothered by me so don't worry ;))). Please save your kind or unkind responses for here and not my "Contact me" page as that costs cashola ;)

I think I am done tinkering with it for a while and just wondered how things looked to other browsers. I had checked it out with Firefox and IE and they were satisfactory enough for me for now but wondered about the others.

Over the last 10 days a number of our users have reported some strange display problems with their sites. The layout was either changed or the style sheet simply failed to load. However, when the page was refreshed it displayed correctly. This affected users who were working in Internet Explorer.

It seems that when we did a bug fix for the Opera browser we inadvertently introduced the Internet Explorer bug. It appears that this issue was caused by a content directive (pragma = no_cache) that IE did not like. We needed this originally to fix a cacheing problem in Opera. However, we now hope and trust that styles now will work properly in all our supported browsers.

In order to get your site to display properly you should log out if you are in SynthaSite and login again. Opening any site will cause it to be updated. You can then simply republish your site.

The developers have asked that if anyone still encounters a problem that they please report it. We believe that the fix is successful, but we are asking for your assistance to confirm this.

We also had a bug where it was not possible to type in a text box if you were using the Decayed style in Internet Explorer. This bug has also been fixed.

We apologise for the inconvenience and we would like to thank all our users who reported the problem and helped us to fix these rather tricky bugs!

SynthaSite is awesome but not yet fully formed. Thought it would be nice to share some of the ideas that could improve on the great host it already is.

One thing all are most likely aware of is the need for more versatility in templates. Another very positive addition would be adding "content box" properties control to the page designer; being able to set a background color or image over (on top of) the page template or (hopefully someday) properties. Often this can provide more aesthetic range but is useful with some transparent widgets as well.

I decided to create a site map page today, since I have several internal pages that are not on the menu bar. A couple of things it accomplished: allows a visitor a one click snapshot of my site and provided me a spot to put a Google adsense search that lands right on my website when a visitor uses the tool. OMG now im convinced. Synthasite ROCKS. I just tried using CrawlDog and it was way too confusing. I came out of it as fast as i went in. If you think Synthasite is the best say Synthasite rocks!

I've uploaded my PDF file, saved and previewed but cannot download the file when I click on the link. I get a Javascript void error... can anybody help?

SynthaSite did an upgrade today. Here are some great new features for your website:

1) Password Protection: Assign a single log in and password to some or all of the pages on your website.
2) Three new themed styles. More options for your website! Theme: Education. Style names: Innovation, KidsCorner, LittlePeoplesWorkshop Style Features: Each style allows you to upload a custom banner header.
3) Meebo Rooms: Embed a Meebo chatroom with simple drag and drop.

Once we have our sitemaps okay'd (verified and a sitemap) with google...
do we have to chang our sitemap each time we update, that is even if
we have not changed anything?

Hi all,

I am currently 13 years old and i am having a blast using Synthasite. This is why i get very gloomy when i hear people saying things like Synthaiste is hard to use and they are giving up. With my age you wouldn't expect to get much out of my site but i still do my best to keep it in tip top shape(www.questforanswers.co.nr).

The moral of this post is, never give up on your site, no matter what. There is always an employee to help with whatever problem you may run into or maybe even a customer like yourself. So my message to you is never give up on Synthasite and let's all make sure that Synthasite is he best website builder ever!!
