Can you make a "contact me" link? I want to be able to have people e-mail me.

Assuming you are using a text widget, just type "contact me" where you want it in the text, highlight it with the cursor, click on the "Insert Link" button on the toolbar (10th icon from the left, looks like a little piece of a chain) then click E-Mail on the pop-up and just type in your email address.

Thank you, it helped a lot. I tested it and was able to get as far as an e-mail window (trying to e-mail myself). I didn't know what to fill in for the 'server' ingoing and outgoing e-mail...can you help again? -
Inappropriate?You need not bother with any of that unless you intend to mail yourself often;)
if you set it up just like he said above it will work. The issue you are running into is related to your mail server on your computer. Sounds like its not configured for outgoing mail. Its not a problem if its not because even if you are on a web site where you wish to email someone but can't because your email server is not up and running. The easiest thing for you to do is to right click the contact me or email button and then (copy email address) and then paste the info you copied into your email outgoing address.
What you are talking about and worrying over is not a problem on the synthesite page. It simply sounds like something for you to contact your internet provider and get the needed info and settings then you can make the connection possible.
What is the link to that page and I will test it for you

Sorry Mary I've been a bit preoccupied trying to put my site out to pasture so to speak and let it be on it's own for a while without me.
I did see that your link did have your email attached correctly so I am sure that it will work properly. I gotta laugh because my computer isn't configured either for outgoing emails through links and I never use them anyway but I will try it later on the laptop... Great start on your site. Looks like you have a lot to share and a site such as yours is a great way to release that which is inside.

I was looking at it again and I didn't find it again. So i went to your site and copied the code from there. I'm still messing with it so it doesn't look to much like yours. But when i do it, it puts all the text fields under each other. Can you help me with that?

Ok I got that fixed. I now have a working form... almost. Everything is how i want it to be, but how do i get it so when someone uses it, it emails me, not you? Because i got the code from your page.

Hi mE - you would need to go to www.wufoo.com to register and get your own code. Using someone else's code won't work, and they will get all the information sent to them.

it goes onto the wufoo account page thats why best not to copy the code and you will require a account to retrive the emails.

My website is done. My website will help new SynthaSite users learn how to use SynthaSite. I will put it on the internet tomorrow probably. I will upgrade every once in a while to put in more info. When I put it on the internet, i will give you the site name.
