wuala reports for the file "http://www.wuala.com/OTR-files/OTR/kika/Ronja_die_Raeubertochter_08.12.24_16-00_kika_120_TVOON_DE.mpg.avi.otrkey" 3068 views which i think can't be in only 2 days! So i think theres something wrong. it could have something to do with the webinterface, because the folder has only 13 views, so the people are visiting the file directly!

There are some downloads with such names as 23HBC52634863HHDH774524344NN634 or so...What is this??? I don ́t startet thias downloads. Sry my English isn ́t good... But when I go to the downloadmanager i can ́t see this downloads...There are only there were are the download speed is. Help?

It only let's you download 200 MB. Any reason why?

I can't download the wuala software because the start button on www.wuala.com won't work. Where can i get just the .jar or .tar.gz file to install wuala locally? When clicking "Start" it used to show a list of local installable software but now it just reports there is a Bug in Firefox+Linux.

Wua.la keeps downloading a phantom file. I don't have any file in the "downloading" view and I can't seem to cancel it. Already rebooted and restartet wua.la :-/

Ich verwende hier Ubuntu 8.10 mit filesystem integration. Heute ist mir aufgefallen, dass wuala irgendwelche dateien (musik / filme) ständig runterlädt, obwohl ich diese nie angewählt habe (nur von meinen dateien und meiner freunde) wie kann ich das wieder abstellen? wenn ich bei einer datei auf stoppen gehe, kommt einfach irgend eine andere zum download :(

I cant download any "bigger" files (the smallest file i tried and failed to download was 50MB) and i always just get the informative message "FAILED" or when i try to kopy it from the network drive " remote storage service could not recall the file"
Please help!

Ich kann nichts "Größeres" runterladen (das kleinste das ich bis jetzt versucht hab runter zu laden war 50MB groß) ich ich bekomme dann immer nur die informative Fehlermeldung "FAILED" oder wenn ich versuche die Datei übers Netzlaufwerk zu kopieren bekomme ich diese Fehlermeldung "Der Remotespeicherdienst konnte die Datei nicht zurückrufen"
Hab keine Ahnung was ich machen kann/soll... Bitte um Hilfe!

I've heard of users maxing out their connection in Wuala but my download speeds usually hover around 320 KBps (Kilobytes per second) whereas I always get 1.1 MBps download using Utorrent and only 25 to 30 seeds.

I tried downloading many different files (small and large) but the top speed that I've ever had was 340 KBps. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Please post your speeds below.

My settings & info:

Max Upload Rate: 90 KBps
Max Download Rate: 1000 KBps
My internet connection: 10 Mbps download, 1 Mbps upload
Trading 10 GB
Locally stored data: 7 GB
Average online time: 75%
Computer is well connected

ich habe folgendes Problem mit Wuala hier am DSL Anschluss. Wenn ich Datein unter 500 kb runterlade (Bilder etc.) ist alles OK. Aber bei Datein über 500 kb passiert folgendes: Wuala fängt an zu Downloaden, dann nach ein paar Sekunden wird die Statusanzeige unten Gelb und kurz danach Rot. Und der Download bricht ab. In diesen moment gehen alle Rechner im Netz Offline und man kann für etwa ne halbe Min. nicht im Netz Surfen etc. Modem muss sich neu einloggen. Lokale Zugriffe sind auch nicht möglich. Getestet mit Speedport 502W und der Fritzbox als Modem.

Leider kann ich nicht Sagen wie lange das Problem schon besteht. Habe bisher hier meistens nur Upload gemacht und in der Firma oder so download (DSL25000 haben wir da). Nach austesten passiert das an allen 3 Rechnern hier. Ich habe Wuala auch einmal bei meinen nachbarn Installiert. Da passiert das genau das gleiche.

Ich nutze Wuala PC 455 und hier im Dorf gibt es nur SparDSL (DSL384) Mit dem Down- und Uploadlimit habe ich mehrere Werte getestet. Der Switch ist ein Longshine LCS-FS6105. Beim Nachbarn gleiche Konfiguration nur WLAN statt Switch.

Mir ist es jetzt schon zwei mal passiert, dass ich Probleme mit grossen Dateien hatte. Betrifft den Bereich 3.5GB bis 5GB, wahrscheinlich auch darüber. Das herunterladen ging fast normal. (Wuala hat manchmal Probleme. Der Speed fällt zusammen. Wenn der Download pausiert wird und danach wieder gestartet, geht es mit full speed weiter.) Bei einem Film ist mir ein Bildfehler aufgefallen und bei einem rar Archiv gab es einen Fehler wegen einer ungültigen Datei. Cache leeren, neu herunterladen und alles ist bestens. Nur ist das besonders ärgerlich bei solch grossen Dateien. Mir scheint als würde Wuala bei der Rekonstruktion etwas nachlässig arbeiten.

I had opened a thread before suggesting to add the functionality to verify the uploaded content and someone asked me if i had recent problems. I had to say no but now I do. I uploaded a file, set shared it with a friend of mine (my 2nd account) and i tried to download it there, I tried it by drag&droop and it would tell me "Cannot copy FILENAME. The remote storage service was not able to recall the file." then I tried to download it by hitting "Save As..." and the error message i got from there just \said "FAILED!". Then I tried to just hit"Download" on the file's context menu and the green download bar disappeared after a few seconds from the file and no more data are being transferred (in the status bar).
This looks like a major problem to me.... :o how can i get this file downloaded? :o
