Should I use 2.0 or 1.5 Slingplayer Software?
If you are using HD, you have to use 2.0 in order to access all the features. However, if you are using a proxy server with 2.0 you will not be able to use the new guide feature.
If you are using a MAC, you have to use 1.5.
If you are using a standard Definition receiver and Slingplayer, 1.5 is your best bet. version 2.0 has had numerous problems with slowing speeds, causing computers to crash, longer login process, etc. The "new features" offered do not make up for the technical problems caused. Once there are solutions to the glitches, we will test then let the customers know about the upgrade.
