the shortest name of website ever for url shortening service.like it! Can the new tab be opened only in the background when clicking the Lincr! bookmarklet??This is more convenient...and even never open the new tab..all the shortening and copy-to-clipboard actions happen as background operation! However, I've actually been working on a more effective bookmarket that creates an AJAX layer on the page you are browsing and displays the short link there. No windows, no tabs.
Try this. Copy paste the following code into a new bookmark.

It looks weird, transparent, has scrollbars etc., but it's like super early alpha, so don't freak out! :)

Inappropriate?That new feature does take effect! Thanks a lot. As of the last try i did the moment ago, it popped up completed message! The message window looks a little bit rigid and ugly. I suggest you design as shrinkify.com extension confirmation floating windows with beautiful layouts...Here is its example
