Inappropriate?I just started with the tool-tips on. There's a square on the screen that gives you detailed info about the features that you're mousing over. It's really well-done.
I’m using tool-tips again

Inappropriate?Aside from watching the tutorial that comes with the program, another extremely helpful resource comes in the form of one of the many guidebooks sold via Amazon.
I basically toyed with Live every single day without referring to much other than my own intuition. If that doesn't work for you, there's plenty of really informative videos to be found on YouTube.

Inappropriate?Oh! Looking at YouTube videos is a great idea, thanks!

Inappropriate?Check out videos on the Ableton site and also YouTube. I've been using Live since v1 and I think the videos done by a lot of Ableton users are pretty brilliant.
There is a guy with a ton of videos something like 20 or so. Google for tutorials and see what comes up.

Inappropriate?Your best bet is on Google or a manual from a non-ableton company? Ideally from another individual. You will not learn this program overnight especially if you have never used another sequencing or MIDI program.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the tips all. This turns out to be a nice beginner/intermediate tutorial, and I like the work philosophies mixed into the lesson.
