Favourite Functionality!

I've found recently a really big need for a favourite functionality!

This would be like an internal "digg", where users can favourite / like a page and by doing this it adds it you your favourite list and adds your name to the "fans list".

This would then display your latest 10 fave's on your user page and the rest on a dedicated fave's page. This dedicated fave's page would then be your "list" which just like the "best of lists" can be broken down by categories/topics

Apart from adding more social interactions and encouraging people to come back;

• This could be another metric in the AURA calculations


• This could be another way of displaying the search results... (by most faved, most visited, .etc)


• This could help with promotion if you plug in Facebook Connect (posts your latest fave to your facebook profile)


• This could lead onto more monetisation features (i.e. get updates/newsletters from your faved sites, more tarted ads, .etc)

(I have more ideas for this... but Unfortunately its 3:46 here and I still haven't started what I was meant to be doing)
