Inappropriate?I'm guessing he is meaning a function to allow the users to override the AboutUs search algorithm and display the url's alphabetically within the tags selected.
I like it.. It could be an addition to the advance search function discussed previously.. Along with maybe some other sorting functionality like;
- Alphabetically Z-A
- Date Added
- Date Updated
- Category*
(*i.e. Blog Website, News Website, General Website)

Inappropriate?Yes, I get what alpha order is, I'm just not sure how it would be useful, that's all. If the issue is, "how do I know that a particular site is actually on a particular list?" then that seems like a different issue. We're working on that one, I'm pretty sure. I'm also not sure why the date options would be useful.
The category (or classification, I think we've been calling it) would definitely be useful and is on our development radar. -
Inappropriate?Well at least I got one out of five right :)
The date functionality would be good, OK.. maybe not the date added! but the date updated would allow you to search something like "blackberry" with the date updated selected and AboutUs could tell you what is the most up-to-date site! (good for news sites / blogs)... Also what I was trying to get at with the "date added" should have really been called "the date created"... So users can use AboutUs to find the most reputable / well established sites first...
Good news about the classification though...:)

Inappropriate?After re-reading what I wrote 8 months ago... I don't agree with myself!
I still think that alphabetical could be useful in some circumstances... but the Date Added & category are useless / pointless!
I do have some I would like to see though.
The ability to reorder lists;
* Alphabetically
* Most Viewed
* Most recently edited
I just hope you are able to implement them before I change my mind again!
