I haven't heard of any Flex implementations yet... The URLRequest class will provide the HTTP layer needed to interact with the REST API.

In order to make an HTTP request to the activeconference.com domain you will need to setup a correct Cross-domain policy file. Additionally, you will have to make sure you correctly sign your requests to ActiveConference for authentication and api key association.

For security reasons embedding your private api key in your Flash ActionScript application is not a good practice. Running your own separate www server with a proxy to ActiveConference is the recommended practice.
