This morning, Christmas Day, my 2 sons received Guitar Hero World Tour. They are having a good time, one on guitar and one on drums. Naturally my husband and I would like to try the game with them. To our surprise and disappointment, we found that although we paid nearly $200 and the box says "Complete Band Game", there are no controllers included.
We have already purchased 2 controllers, 2 other guitars, and Guitar Hero 3.
This is sleezy consumerism -- "gotcha" selling. Most games that we own are designed for 2 people -- most households have 2 controllers.
In reality your product will cost us $80 more than the $200 we already paid, as to play with 4 people, 4 controllers are needed. We are very disappointed in you less than frank marketing.
Called customer service this morning (xmas) due to missing parts in a sealed box purchased at Target. The two little knobs that hold the symbols on and AA batteries missing. Instead of just shipping me the $2 worth of parts they are requiring me to wait for them to send me a label, then ship my entire symbol set back and wait for a replacement symbol set to be shipped back to me. By this time my kids will be done with their xmas break. Buy Rock Band, Activision should not get future business if they are going to waste my time and $30 worth of shipping for $2. Let the economic down turn begin so we can have customer service again!!!
Your customer service has to be the worst in the industry. 2 hours on the phone to long distance number before my issue is finaly resolved. This includes 3 disconnects and 4 phone calls.
Why can't I play online with my friends from Ireland? I could play with them on cod4, but not on W@W. Also, why is the server not prepared for the amount of people that are playing the game?
I pre ordered COD5 and have been sent my unique code for beta maps and vip access but because i entered the wrong DOB when registered it now wont let me access the site for the extra content how can i reset my account.
I keep getting booted for "punk buster communication heartbeats" and "handshake" sometimes as well for Call of Duty 4 on my PC. I have no idea what that is. So I reinstalled the game and it still does the same thing. What do I do?
Will the new AirSet shared WebComputer release fix the problem of accumulating too many tabs on the tab menu as users switch between WebComputers and application?
Occasionally, the buttons on my guitar, especially the red fret button, don't work. I'll hold it down, but nothing happens. It seems to come back eventually, but it's frustrating. Or, sometimes I'll hold a note down for a long time, but the note will drop out. Is there any way to reset the device, or is it just faulty buttons?
We're trying to decide on a game console and this is one of the two games we're interested in buying right off. I'm wondering what the trade-offs between the two platforms are relative to this particular game.
