I Am wondering wether to get Rock Band or Guitar hero for my PS3 but i want to be able to use one guitar for both games. Is this Possible?

Inappropriate?Wait, I am sorry. I think I misunderstood your question. I think that Rock Band and GH3 don't use the same guitars. Lame, I know, but I think that is the case. Anyone else tried this?
