Hmm...I've never asked anyone about this internally. Personally, I've always seen it as a stair-step. To me, it looks like we take one step back before going more steps forward. This is the way we approach many of our client engagements. It's important for us to get the full picture of the problems or opportunities facing our clients before we can move forward towards a solution.

If I remember correctly, it was supposed to be an abstracted version of a path, and it kind of looks like the bottom half of an arrow pointing right. But I suspect the real reason we picked it was because it reminded everybody of the Atari game Breakout. Also we'd probably been drinking.
I'm surprised you didn't ask where the name came from.

Inappropriate?Nope. It's based on the idea of the desire line, but we thought "Desire Line" as a company name sounded a little too, ah, risque.
