What do you have to report back from Mission #1?
Did you find the Badges functionality? Did you explore Cred? Did it work for you? What did you notice?
Are you ready for Mission #2?

Would you expect to see paging to addition history or just a limited number of transactions? -
Inappropriate?Paging would be expected. Nicer would be to somehow exclude the long string of conflicting events I inflicted on myself. But that's a trickier programming job :)
-
So cancel out the credit / uncredit corrections? We're on it!
We're also considering doing a rolled-up daily activity summary. Would you prefer that or do you want to see each action as a separate line item? -
Inappropriate? So I can give cred and get cred. Not sure about the badges. They looked clickable but did nothing when I clicked on them (or was I looking in the right place?)
I’m undecided
-
The badges are currently not clickable. Where would you expect them to take you if they were clickable? -
The badges are designed to be like a trophy case for specific accomplishments. We have other ideas about what to do with them. What would you like to see them do? -
Inappropriate?I'm not sure. I guess if it were an ad that was bought, it would take me to it (so I could see the reason the accomplishment was gotten).
Otherwise, it might take you to a page describing that accomplishment (if it were an award, reaching a certain level of cred, or some other good thing that didn't necessarily correspond to an actual piece of work.
I’m relieved
-
Inappropriate?I like the badges myself. I think they could become an interesting device within the community--an aspect of ranking or participation, and I imagine they would develop a certain currency over time.
Even more, I like the cred mechanism and the different ways in which it can be applied. This, combined with the rating and commenting functions, gives users other options for participation in the platform. We've often talked about this for AdHack, and I continue to think it's a really important aspect of developing community for the long-term.
Not everyone will always have time to prepare an ad or respond to a commission, but many others will be able to participate in some of these smaller-scale ways (cred, rating, comments) and that will help to enliven the site and curate its content.
