Using tabbed conversations, it seems to randomise the placement of windows. Of course, as soon as you open another conversation, it is placed within the same window of the previous under a different tab. I am talking about a window with a single tabbed conversation.
Here's a screenshot to explain it better. Each window has one conversation.
Does the i'm initiative work with Adium? (Microsoft i'm making a difference) It's when you put a specific code next to your name and every IM donates to charity. I'm wondering if it works if I use my MSN account through Adium?
I get at lot of spam messages on Adium recently. I have heard that the pc-based msn-people can choose to get messages from "only people on my list". I would like that too, because I don't really care if Becky69xyx wants to show he new fake photos to me.
I can't connect to AOL or MSN and it keeps saying that the socket is not connected... I have no clue what that means. If it's saying I'm not connected to the internet.... I obviously am. I'm also having troubles using MSN for mac and AIM.... someone suggested using Adium.... but now I can't get it to work.
I just got a mac... so I have no clue how to get around it.... PLEASE HELP!!
My Adium was working perfectly. Suddenly it started to connect and disconnect in a matter of 3 seconds stating that there is a ̈error on notification server: unknown error code 400 ̈. All of the afore with my MSN account. I then proceeded to connect to my yahoo account and it worked perfectly, although I don ́t have any contacts. Followed by this and thinking it was a problem with my MSN account, I downloaded Messenger and worked without a problem. Has anybody experienced the same problem? If so, I could really use some help.
Thanks...Best
I just downloaded adium and I typed in my login correctly for MSN. The program says it logs in to almost 100% but then says, "Error: Unable to authenticate: The e-mail address or password is incorrect." I went onto Microsoft Messenger to make sure my username and password are correct and they are. What's up?
