Twitter as protocol in Adium

I think it's interesting, but Twitter is much different than facebook chat. How would it work out? Every person would get their own tab, and so you'd end up closing a lot of unwelcome 'messages' to you that weren't actual messages? Or, perhaps, only @replies would pop up new messages and by entering text into that window, it will limit you to 140 characters minus @, the size of the name, and a space afterward. I like the last method best, personally, but I think that would require new code. (As well, it could 'go over' and use tinypaste or some other service with a warning, and use the API for that to 'pull' the full comment from those services for your friends using it? Honestly, at that point, it's best to just start an e-mail, heh)
