Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software is the professional photographer's essential toolbox, providing one easy application for managing, adjusting, and presenting large volumes of digital photographs so you can spend less time in front of the computer and more time behind the lens.
It would be nice if there would be an mail-to-feature in the library module that would allow to send an image as jpg directly by a context sensitivy menu.
I recently had to migrate to Lightroom from RawShooter due to RawShooter no longer being supported and more in particular, RawShooter not being able to read and process XMP in order to extract GPS info.
However, the LightRoom interface is MUCH harder to use than the RawShooter interface due to a lot of the shortcut keys. What was intuitive in RawShooter is now very clumsy in Lightroom. I suggest that Adobe takes a good hard look at what made RawShooter popular in the first place.
For example, Lightroom does not allow output of images to a relative location which should be some simple to do.
My workflow directory structure is as follows
2007/5D/20070801/RAW, POST. etc.
All the RAW files are kept in the RAW directory and output files kept in POST. This keeps things nice and neat.
So please consider adding this in the next release. Thanks much!
