I'm losing my mind. I recently updated to flash 10 and now my wordpress media uploader won't work. This is an essential part of my business. How do I downgrade to 9? I love Adobe, but seriously you guys need to fix this, it's been circulating for months.
doesnt work on some parts of pages in one of my firefox profiles under win vista, i have tried reinstalling the player several times, no luck
for example in my youtube embeded videos in my blog posts it wont work, but in other blogs may work. On other firefox profiles it all works, and also on other browsers.
I would just like to show my appreciation to Adobe for finally adding support for Linux and x64. Hopefully in the future we can see support from more of Adobe's products.
I just reinstalled Flash Media Encoder 2.5 after doing a recovery. And when I went to use it, it won't let me use any of the video settings. All of the video settings are shaded in gray. It will only let me use the audio settings. I tried to run the repair on it in add remove programs. and it said adobe has encountered a fatal error and is unable to repair Flash Media Encoder. So I just removed it, and went back to adobe.com and downloaded it again. And its doing the same thing. I went ahead and tried to broadcast and it did but just audio. The video was showing up as a blank white screen. I have been using Flash Media Encoder for almost a year now, and I have never has a single problem with it.
Can anyone help me with this?
Multi-source flash player are playing music at the same time. Is there any function that music on a player could stop when an another is beginning to play ? And play back when the audio source is down. You know, like an handling of music's sources from flash players. It's annoying switching 'stop/play' between those so numerous flash players nowadays (Youtube, Seesmic, Deezer...).
Agree with my idea ? I would so like improve this functionality !

Love Adobe, love the innovation, not crazy about the price. But why all the updates? Seems an Adobe update is constantly on my computer. So many updates that I tend to ignore them for awhile. Why don't you package your updates and send them out monthly or quarterly even bi weekly would be more acceptable.
why is flash WIN 10,0,12,36 freezing up both IE7 and Firefox 3.0.4 and causing my system resources to shoot up to 57-60% for almost 30 seconds. uninstalled it via the adobe flash uninstaller, rebooted, after an hour, its back to freezing!! using Windows XP SP2
After our computer is up for awhile and we've gone to many websites, embedded videos that are flash based freeze after 2 seconds. The only way I've found to fix it is by rebooting our computer. We see the problem in both Firefox and IE. We've also noted that sound from other programs don't work when this happens. I've seen lots of discussion topics on the web in various forums. No-one seems to know what causes it but everyone is convinced that it is flash.
well, i was hoping to maybe have an even exchange or the option of paying a couple of hundred to upgrade to the new CS4 master. is that possible at all?

I am trying to update Flash on my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.4.11). The install goes about 2/3 of the way through, then is unable to create 'the file' because 'You do not have the required access privileges.'
I'm the only user, this is my personal laptop. All browsers either came preinstalled or were installed/updated by me. I do not use a separate administrative account. What gives? How do I get Flash updated? The knowledge base article does not address the problem, since there are not any other users on this machine.
What exacty is ActiveX and where can I download it? This asks to load on several websites and then once I've gone through the download steps, it NEVER WORKS! Is this what Flash Player is??
This is absolutley frustrating...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
