Adobe CS3 Switching from PC to MAC

I am trying to do a cross platform switch from PC to MAC. I opened a case on the Adobe Support Portal. They said this would be possible and that I needed to fill out a LOD form and submit it to my case. I did that and have received no response. I have tried to call their customer service the last two nights and was on hold for an hour each night before giving up. Is this common with Adobe support? I feel like with the prices they charge for their products it would be easier to resolve and issue. Is there anyone else that can be contacted. I really need to get my software running on my new computer for school.
