Hi,
Trying to re-install Ps CS4 due to it running buggy after doing a system tune up. I get this message when running the installer:
"Critical errors were found in setup for Adobe Photoshop CS4:
The installer database is invalid: please re-install the product from the original media
Please see the Setup log file for details. Click Quit to exit Setup."
I have already repaired disk permissions, tried to install from a new user account, downloaded the the installer from the web store again, re installed my os, everything is up to date...
My experience with abobe tech support has been probably my worst with any company in that regard: a total waste of time... and not a small amount of time either.

Inappropriate?Well, I solved this problem by doing a clean install of all my software... ugh. I was pointed to this help document by the help desk at the NAPP:

Hope this might help others with this problem.
I don't understand why adobe help wasn't able to get me that information. -
Inappropriate?I am having the same problem with Dreamweaver CS4, I managed to installe Fireworks CS4 though. It is a new freshly installed computer. I followed the instructions in the help document from adobe but it didn't help.
