Dreamweaver MX 2004 won't open in Snow Leopard
Just upgraded to Snow Leopard (Mac OSX 10.6) and neither Dreamweaver MX 2004 nor Fireworks MX 2004 will launch. Others have reported same issue. Issue was resolved for Freehand MX 2004 (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/504/cpsid_50...) but no similar solutions have emerged for Dreamweaver of Fireworks. How can I get these programs to launch. I am reluctant to pay $500-600 to upgrade when the existing programs were serving the purpose just fine!

Inappropriate?Timothy, if you've tried to contact Adobe and not gotten anywhere try the facebook page we set up to press them into improving service (Adobe staff is working directly with customers here and getting them answers pretty fast) Urging Adobe to improve poor service

Inappropriate?Heres what i did... and Dreamweaver Mx 2004 works perfect in Snow Leopard.
1 - install Dreamweaver in any other MX 2004 apps you want to use on another mac with Leopard on, i used a G4 800.
2 - install using the following Key that i found on this thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/2253091 here's the key WPD700-59309-14394-64786. this is a volume licence key used for mass installations, if you have loads of spare time you could try this with your existing key but it might not work.
3 - make sure the app launches on the mac and doesnt ask for a key again.
4 - zip this folder up HD>Library>application support>Macromedia it was about 14mb on mine, i zipped the whole thing just for the hell of it.
5 - Uninstall Dreamweaver from Snow Leopard with some program like AppZapper.
6 - Install dreamweaver on the 10.6 Snow Leopard Mac, it doesn't matter if you launch the app now it will still crash, it wont affect what happens next.
7 - replace the HD>Library>application support>Macromedia folder with the one from the other mac
8 - launch dreamweaver - stare in awe at the splash screen!
9 - make a website, smugly
