How do I see and manipulate the size of a rastor object in Photoshop CS3?

Inappropriate? After you've selected Free Transform, look up in the Options palette at the top of the screen. You should see fields for Width and Height: simply type the pixel values you'd like into those boxes with units specified e.g. "50 px." They should support any unit PS supports.
I’m not so bad at that Photoshop jazz!

Inappropriate?I see the problem now... the text fields labeled H: and W: were always pre-filled with percentages, so I didn't realize that I could append px and get pixel size control. Got it!
Thanks Kenneth!
I’m singing a tune too.
