Unresponsive Fireworks CS4 in Leopard
Hellooo.....? Is anyone from Adobe in here? Taking days to respond to topics is unacceptable.
Like Josh (Fireworks lacking the spark!), I appear be experiencing similar issues with a lack-lustre Fireworks.
I've recently upgraded to CS4 and have been using FW. Alas FW is so slow and unresponsive and immeasurably frustrating that I've moved back to my trusty Photoshop. The app is not only unresponsive (ie. taking several seconds for an action to take place, not matter how simple), but it has crashed a number of times during simple tasks.
What's notable to me is that this is occurring on two Macs - a G5 MacBook 2.4Ghz Intel Duo Core and a G5 iMac 2.4GHz Intel Duo Core, both running OS 10.5.5.
Please help,

Inappropriate?Folks, I've posted my query on Adobe's forum directly. Thus far, I've had a one-line response, see link below in the event that it's useful to anyone.

Inappropriate?Forcing FW to replace the preference files seems to help a little bit: Tale of the bugginess
