Grouping Sets feature suggestion
Would love the ability to group a bunch of sets... into a "Collection" or "Theme" or "Group" or something! Lots of bookmarking sites allow for the one level of grouping -- would be unique and awesome of Agglom to allow for another level of grouping...Grouping Sets!

Inappropriate? After posting this idea, I realized that it can already be done in a simplistic way using Agglomerator to save a set of Agglom set pages.
See example here (http://www.agglom.com/modifyagglom.as...)
One could add a specific keyword to the title to distinguish it as a "grouping of sets." Either "Collection," "Group," or my personal favorite, "Cluster"!
If Agglom links could be recognized as a special Category of link (i.e., "Sets"), then that would be really nice too!
Maybe Agglom could add the "keyword" to the title and tag automatically if all the links are of the Agglom Category... (or maybe there is a better way still?)
At least, this is a work-around for creating another level... -
Inappropriate?Thanks for your lovely feedback.
We really appreciated your workaround, but I would like to point out that a "group" feature is already in development and will be release in 1 month time (according to our milestones).
We just released a new beta version: http://agglomblog.wordpress.com/2008/... and the next one will be the Beta 4.0. A brand new version that includes this major feature: grouping.
The feature will work similarly to the "flickr" grouping in order to allow any kind of usage (from "high-quality group of sets" to "personal ones") and will include a discussion area where members can share their ideas about the sets.
In the meanwhile, your smart work-around will work perfectly :)
Thanks,
Enrico Foschi
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? Now you are able to create private and public groups that anybody else can join (or, if private, that you can keep just for yourself).
In groups you can aggregate sets, start and reply to discussions and, any member can subscribe to it to receive real-time updated, updates in daily or weekly digests.
Any comment would be much appreciated.
I’m happy
