update - I finally ran into some items ranked with other numbers, from Lifehacker and Huffington Post, and more than a few hours old. User error on my part?

i installed the googlereader firefox extension and all i see is a drop down menu for all/good/great/best and nothing else new in google reader. Am I missing something? I am using Firefox 3. I don't remember explicitly installing Greasemonkey but I don't know how to tell if it is installed or not. I am very frustrated as this extension looks like the kind that I would love and want to share with many people, but I am close to giving up on it. Help?

Why does my feed begin with March 08, on your site, when I've been blogging since '04?

I just created a new feed and it's wonderful! I'm very impressed with the service. However, it was "last updated" 4 hours ago and I was hoping it would stay closer to real-time (within an hour or so).

Is there a setting for this? If not, what is the average amount of time between updates so I can decide if this will work for me or not?

I have four blogs that are all set up the same. Two of them show up in aiderss, and two don't. How do I make the two that don't show up show up?

I'm having trouble with feeds that are delivered through feedburner. They show properly on the AideRSS site but when I subscribe in Google Reader the feed gives an "invalid Request" error message.

AideRSS is reporting that the Hacker News feed (http://news.ycombinator.com/rss) has not been updated in 13 days, when in reality it appears to have never stopped updating.

I'm using Yahoo Pipes primarily to combine RSS feeds and filter out some content (eg: sponsored posts from the Gawker Media family, idiotic posts about 'too much packaging' from the Consumerist, and a Digg Stupidity Filter that's self-explanatory.) I do this because a few regular expressions help save me from the inanity of the Internet every day. When I use these custom feeds with AideRSS, all posts are ranked as a 1.0 - which seems reasonable now that I've figured out why it's happening.

I was wondering if there was a tag I could use or deploy when utilizing a custom feed to specify the original feed's URL, since all that's changing from the original content is the source URL and the number of posts. I'm pretty sure Pipes lets me add custom XML attributes and it would be really handy if AideRSS could pick this up, and assign the appropriate rating to each piece of content.

I know some of my combined feeds might be a problem to parse (Engadget Uniques, for example, takes Engadget+Engadget HD+Engadget Mobile posts and runs a unique title filter on them) but the filtered feeds should only need to have a different source set.

Even at worst, I wouldn't be too adverse to plugging in the original URL somewhere on the AideRSS site under my account. I was slightly confused with the Google Reader extension - apparently it doesn't exactly tie into your personal account at AideRSS.com?

Is there any chance you will be trying to adapt a GoogleReader Safari Extension?

I've imported an OPML file into AideRSS but now need to remove a feed from those tracked. The "My Feeds" list doesn't show anything despite it saying I currently have 62 feeds (about 2/3 of the OPML file, so far).

How do I go about this?

can the api be used to include multiple blogs based on a keyword or key phrase search in a single set of results (ala radian6)

how does one style the results from the widget

the class is set to "aide-rssresult" - I'd like it to fit in with the style of my right nav.

How long does a 100-feeds-OPML import take?

I recently joined and I started my importing my OPML list. AideRSS imported the first 25 ones warning me that the other 80 ones 'are queued for import and will be added to your account shortly'.

How long does this usually take?

You have sent me the link for installing extension and I clicked on it, traditional "Firefox prevented bla bla..." thing came out. So I have added "gr.aiderss.com" to Firefox's allowed sources list. However, Firefox is still preventing it although I have added it to "Allow List" and checked out several times. I know that if there would be a link on the page directly to the extension file, this wouldn't happen.

What can I do now to install it?

When checking (analyze) the feed for Photo News Today (http://www.photonewstoday.com), you are showing only entries from 2007. Photo News Today usually has 20 to 30 entries per day and is currently (08) active.

is there anyway to have aiderss track the number of clicks a certain post gets and use that to populate a widget instead of using digg or comments? I was using Spotplex forever and now there offline.... Help? Send help to curiousread [at] gmail.com thanks so much
