Thanks,
Alex

Inappropriate?Fixed, apologies for the bug!
The company says
this solves the problem

I have a feeling that if I requested that one of the developers write up the explanation, he'd end up taking up half the day getting into the interesting details. :) So I'm going to have to add "explaining bug fixes" to the same policy as "how PostRank is calculated", i.e. proprietary IP and we're not at liberty to address those requests. The more time the devs spend on actually fixing things and developing new functionality, the sooner it gets out the door, which is really the ideal situation.
However, please do let us know if you come across any additional bugs. -
Inappropriate?Hi, I wasn't looking for any proprietary information because this bug seems to be at the Rails core. Thus, I'll post the bug there.
