Innacurate-looking posts ranking

I made the top twenty list of my blog's posts, and the result doesn't look accurate at all! (my crappy posts are showing as top ones, and others that were successful have a rank 1). Is there an explanation for this? (your service is great, I really want to use it, but it doesn't mirror the best of my site).
