Inappropriate?Hi Owen, Sorry to hear about the glitch. I can think of a couple of explanations but will also get someone else from our team to look at this tomorrow morning. I think everyone else might have gone to bed in our time zone at this point... :)
We have renamed our Blog application to Forum in this release. So please take a look under the "Forum" application and see if you can find your old blog entries there.
And this one is probably less likely to be the explanation: were you referring to having blog entries on your old Main Page? If you didn't save your old Main Page, you won't have that particular layout anymore. But you could set up a new Intranet using the previously available "AirSet Classic" Main Page design layout--and you will have a Forum widget available there.
Hope this helps..

Typo in the title.. It should be "Blog application is NOW Forum application" -
Inappropriate? Thanks. Yes, you were right. I had not spotted the blog -> forum name-change. My fault :)
I really like the new version, and I think that I will explore the idea of pulling some of the old blog entries out and reworking them as separate web documents.
Two questions (that you can answer tomorrow if you are going to bed now!):
1. is there a way of making the base calendar show the colors of the main cloud computer calendars, and not the sub calendars? To give a real example: the subcalendar colors are very useful on my family calendar because many of the girls activities overlap in their times, but on my base calendar I would like to see all the family events that involve me in one "family color".
2. when i flip between web computers I am often flipping between the same application (checking the calendars, comparing the files stored there, and so on). The old version automatically did this. The new version always throws me into the desktop of the new web computer, which is kind of irritating if you are going back and forth. Is there a way of changing htis?
These are minor points. The major thing is that I think this just works :)
Owen
I’m very happy. Its as good as I expected and then some!

Inappropriate?Owen, thank you for the compliments! I will try to quickly answer the questions and then off the bed I go.. :)
1) I will have to get back to you on this one..
2) If you use the "Web Computer Name" on the upper left hand corner (Click and see drop down of all of your groups/Web Computers), you will be able to navigate to different web computers and remain in the same application. In this release, we are giving people two different ways to go between web computers. Using the icon, you always land on the desktop. Using the "name" link, you always land in the same app.

I’m so happy to read the first positive reponse!!!!

Inappropriate?Thanks again :)
Moving via the name is a neat and cool trick that I hadn't spotted. I will take some time over the weekend to work through the new interface in more detail - so I can explain it to the staff and students on Monday.
Have a good weekend
Owen
I’m happier by the minute :)

Inappropriate?Hi Owen,
It was late last night and I couldn't think of the answer.. sorry about the delay.
I don't think you can have two different colors for a single event displaying on different calendars like you suggested. But as an alternative, in your personal web computer's calendar, you can create a "Family Events" sub calendar that has all of the family events that involves you. That would require all of those events be tagged "Family Events" though.
Hope this helps..
