How can I sync my (first name last name) Native Phone Book with my Outlook (last, first) Address book with AirSete Mobile (Brew/Verizon)
I have a Brew/Verizon phone with an existing contact list consisting of first name last name entries (like John Doe). I have also set up sync'ing to my local Outlook with its Last, First name entries (Doe, John). The process works fine, however I end up with a superset of all of my entries because neither sync process sees John Doe and Doe, John as the same person. Is there a way to fix this?

Inappropriate?I'm not sure I entirely understand the situation. It sounds like you have double-entries of each contact in outlook as a result of sync'ing your phone's native address book with Outlook.
Are you currently an AirSet Mobile user ? Are the contacts duplicated there too (and thus on AirSet) ? -
Inappropriate?I used to use an application (that no longer works on my new phone) that sync'd my Native Phone list with tagged Outlook contacts. That application would recognize that the <first> contacts on my phone were the same as my <last> addresses in outlook.
With AirSet, I have <last> in outlook, <first> in the Native Phone list. After syncing AirSet Mobile, I have <first> in my web computer. Then when I sync to outlook, instead of realizing that my outlook <last> names are the same people, it create a new <first> entry in my outlook contacts. As a result, I now have both <john> and <doe> in my outlook contacts list and they have the same phone number, though only the <doe> entry has the remainder of the contact info. I can deal with having 2 entries for the same person.
To that this discussion a step further...the behavior I would like to see is:
Outlook <doe> and AirSet mobile <john> are recognized as the same person and sync'd seamlessly. In addition, I would like to be able to Tag which of the contacts in my web computer get pushed to the Native phone list. Can I do this?
