Not able to set up Outlook 2003 and Airset....what a shame.
I keep gettting the error "Invalid class string (Error Code 2: The system cannot find the file specified.) ". I have done all the help ideas and I still can't get it set up with my Outlook 2003. I am doing that process so I can use my Treo 755p since the new Palm desktop isn't useable. I was trying out the free version before going to the paid version and guess I am glad I did. Is there anything else I can do, its really aggravating. Thanks.

Sorry for the troubles.
Have you tried running Outlook's 'Detect and Repair' function?
Here's a page from our user manual that will step you through the process.
Let me know how that goes.

Inappropriate?Yes tried that....twice. Also tried the reinstall Outlook step. Still nada. Not sure why, but it isn't working.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? This is what one desktop sync client developer has to say about this error:
"We've seen this in Outlook or PC migrations where tools such as Ghostscript or Altiris are used to copy user profiles. Certain registry key information is missing after this happens and the sync client can't detect the Outlook files properly. Here's what to do: 1) Minimize the sync client and error message without doing anything. 2) Go to Outlook and Select Help/Detect and Repair 3) Once detect and repair is completed, resync."
It's worth a shot.
I don't know what is missing in your particular configuration, but I can tell you that the software does perform well with Outlook 2002, 2003, and 2007, as I have/am using it successfully with those versions of Outlook.
HTH,
Jim

The engineer in charge indicated that the 'Error 2 Code' comes directly from Outlook. If Outlook is still returning the error when asked to do something, there's not much we can do but to perhaps get in contact w/ Outlook's support.
Sorry I couldn't of been more help.

Inappropriate?Ok...I was having the same problem until I went back into Airset and reset my password online. Then I retyped my password in Airsync and voila!! it sync'd. Give it a try...might work for you too.

Inappropriate?Changing password worked for me - thanks Mike. I just started getting unable to synch error messages after upgrading to Office 2007. I started investigating this morning and after uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop client, I went to reset and got the (Error Code 2: The system cannot find the file specified.) message. Thanks again.
