want website NOT to show up in search engines
Can I prevent our published website noyana.airset.com from showing up in a search engine? I want to have a nice looking login page to the desktop but not show up in search engines at all (due to a requirement of a parent organization) Thanks.

Inappropriate?I can understand why this could be useful, but unfortunately it is not something we offer at the current time. I will pass on your request to the engineer in charge of the Web Publish application.

Hi Jim -- Thanks. Currently the Google entry shows up like this:
Noyana Singers: Web Site
noyana.airset.com/ - Cached - Similar
Yesterday I changed the name of the site to NoyanaSingers (with no space between words) to hopefully prevent a search for just Noyana from finding the site. It looked to me like the text "Noyana Singers: Web Site" was derived from the name of the Airset site. Should Google pick this up eventually and change it to NoyanaSingers: Web Site" ?? Thanks! --Nancy P.S. (if that doesn't work I may resort to changing everything to n0yana with a zero for the letter O!) -
Most folks you create a website want their site to show up in Google search results - in fact people work hard to get their site to show up higher in the search results :-) ! To answer your question, the tool that Google uses (it is referred to as a "search bot") will eventually find the new name, though this can take some time - anywhere from days to weeks.
