What's New with AirSet (August 14, 2009)
Quite a number of our users have provided us with helpful suggestions in usability improvements. In this release, we took in many of the comments and implemented corresponding changes.
As many of you know, we have a computer desktop-like interface. New users often suggest that we put the "Start" button as the first button on the bottom of the browser -- so that it is more intuitive for people who are not yet familiar with the interface to see it easily. In this release, we made the "Start" button the first button from the left on the toolbar. To get to all of the applications, you now click on the left most button ("Start") on the bottom of your browser.
Additionally, to make it obvious that you can navigate to other cloud computers in your network, we changed the label of the "Network" button to "My Network." It is now the second button from the left on the bottom of your browser.
In the past, we have been using "Cloud Computer" interchangeably with "Web Computer" throughout our application -- and it has been confusing for many users. In this release, we simplified the lingo to be "Cloud Computer" only. Hopefully that is a step towards making things easier for our users.
Moreover, we also simplified and improved the new cloud computer models, registration steps, login screens, and corresponding emails that you will receive. Whether you are registering and logging in as a first-time user, or using our service as a returning user, your experience will be more streamlined.
Last but not least, we have improved our Java Uploader to provide better information and improve the handling of large files, provided a "Narrow" option for the "Blog Widget", and added a new update to the AirSet Connector (a Firefox add-on).
With these changes, we sincerely hope to improve your experience.

Inappropriate?Sherrie--
Thanks for the great improvements. I'm thinking that you are selling yourself short, 'cuz I'm seeing things I haven't seen before, such as:

What a cool feature! Now I can contact them and update the address as needed.

Inappropriate?I note that the login widget is different. I like it. Problem, though: It no longer fits in the space I allocated on our web site. The "Sign In" button seems to be covering the check box text for "remember me". The area type is set for the login widget which is configured vertically, so I thought I could just make the layout space larger by adjusting the height, but that doesn't seem to help. Any thoughts?
I’m working it out

I solved the problem by putting the login across the top. -
Sorry about the change. I tried to make it look appropriate in many different size areas. If you still have a copy of what the page looked like when the Login gadget did not fit, I would appreciate you sending it to me via a Feedback message.
Thanks
