Inappropriate?Hi,
Interesting question, but the answer will be even more interesting. The images, in fact are showing an identical unit! It is the lighting that is different in each image.
The finish is a foil, rather than a natural veneer, so the units have 100% consistency.
But to answer your question, I think the "in-situ" image is more representative http://www.alphasondesigns.com/produc... of the real finish.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hi Petr,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Now, I am confused with the shade that mentions on the product code. Is Oak and light Oak two different shades ? If we browse the product by colour, ie Light Oak, then all the product have got '-LO' indication 'Light Oak' but the HES5/3-O has got the '-O', which indicates to me that this is 'Oak'. Also I enquired with an authorised internet retailer and I was told that this product is only available in Oak and not light oak !
The image that you have provided is the kind of colour I am actually looking for. But I need to be 100% sure of the colour before I decide to purchase. I hope you understand my dilemma ! I would ideally like to see the shade myself in person so I can be rest assured. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Looking forward to hear from you soon. -
Inappropriate?I can see you point. We make a distinction between Oak and Light Oak and the difference between the two, is that the former is a vinyl wrap and the latter a real wood veneer.
The colours and the grain structure slightly differ. The Oak (as per HES50/3) is a very uniform grain and the colour is not as bright as proper Light Oak.
If you are trying to be 100% sure, then it'd be best to go to a shop to see it for yourself. You can either check out the Where to Buy on our website for your local stockist or let me know where you're based and I can check dealers nearby. However, lookimg at the most recent shipments, it is mostly the online people who have taken the unit... Though there are some with showrooms, so there might be a chance to see it.
