No unicode support?

Unicode not supported? When I enter a description with Chinese text in it (the text is primarily in English, but there were some technical terms translated into Chinese since it was for a Chinese input tool), the resulting application list shows ???? where the Chinese was. Not all applications are for monolingual English speakers!
