search must not be forgotten on OS click
you just made a search with few keywords, but the "all OS" option was default choice... and you want only linux !
when clicking linux, you loose your search, that's a bit disturbing...

Markus mean that we could have a dropdown on the search page where you can filter the result. And if you are on the Linux tab it will default to Linux and so on. We will work in this soon!

That's a good idea that we for sure will look in to. Maybe instead of clicking the tab of "linux" or any other OS you could have a drop down menu for filtering the results. Just like you have on every list of alternative programs.

My first logical choice have been to scroll back up and click on the OS tab !
And moreover, even after choosing a specific OS into the drop-down list, the next click/page refresh put me back under the all OS tab....
I understand your logic, but my first reaction was a sort of "Waow ! Why ?"

Inappropriate?Users have come to expect search terms to propagate to other sections/tabs (as is what happens when clicking the Images link after performing a web search on Google). I don't see how a drop-down list will be better than the current tabbed design.
