Altio commercial licenses?

The downloadable version of Altio comes with a developer license and the ability for 20 users to connect, so for small projects it is free.

For support we view each customer’s business model as unique and find it most productive to design pricing models that align with that of our customers. When not aligned, it becomes difficult to manage for both parties and can be counter to the business strategy you have defined. For a commercial development approach as you describe, we would need to understand more of the model; this said, we may consider no cost approach for use of Altio for software development.

Altio will work with you to determine training needs to the extent required to get you up and running. We can discuss support models for the development process, as well as once the application(s) are delivered and in production where a different level of support may make more sense. It is through our joint experience and an ability to assess and adjust the support model when appropriate that we can both be successful. Fees for ongoing use of the software may be modeled on such drivers as revenue, per user, profit share, per unit or transaction basis; it is important to understand your business so that the costs align with revenues as closely as possible.
