How 'bout noticing when there's a delivery problem?
Amazon is all about automating the heck out of things. How 'bout letting me know that the USPS tried to deliver a package to me and that it's been a long time and I should follow up. E.g. placed several orders at amazon; just noticed one order never arrived; it's been a month. Amazon and USPS websites report it's still Status: In transit.
Never received the USPS delivery attempt notice. Hopefully the USPS hasn't shipped it back.
Related: USPS doesn't give me a way to request they try again online.

Inappropriate? This info is easy to find on the site, Jo! Try harder.

Inappropriate?Did you log into your account? Once there, the first section in Your Account: "Where's My Stuff?" should have that information.
I’m hoping this helps

Inappropriate?Login to your account, and look at 'Where's My Stuff?' - you will see your recent orders up to 6 months...
From there, check the order which you haven't receive, you will see the order information including the tracking number of USPS.
Check it at USPS.com, don't rely on info in your Amazon's account. Call your local post office and see if it is hold up. It usually return to sender within a week, so if you waited a month it should be returning to sender.
Contact the sender and see if he receives it, and report the non-receipt at the same time. If things are not resolve be sure to file a claim with Amazon within 90 days from the date of your order. You will be taking care of.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?By "letting me know" I suspect he meant sending out an email automatically. I'd like this too, like a "we thought you'd like to know your shipment was delayed and is now expected to arrive on the X" or something. Or at least "We're sorry, your shipment was delayed, click here for the latest information". Or for that matter putting tracking links IN the email would be a great start...
