Is the IV Therapy Exam appropriate for an LPN?

Inappropriate?The IV therapy Exam is actually designed for the RN’s Scope of Practice. There are many states which have added IV Certifications to the LPN Scope of Practice but still have restrictions on how they are allowed to function in this capacity.
The LPN Pharmacology exam would include the LPN Scope of Practice for IV Therapy and might be better fit for you. One more quick note, our testing only addresses Competency and is not a formal Certification process.

Inappropriate?no I do not think it is appropriate in this day and age when generally this is calculated for you by the pharmacy.Some of the test is not normal daily practice.
