iTunes

iTunes refuses to let me purchase music from the iTunes store. When I attempt to buy a song, I keep getting taken to an account information screen after I've put in my password. The iTunes account page says my information has 'changed' but everything looks correct when I look it over. Add there is no prompt as to WHAT changed. WTF?

The account has worked previously. I had not changed payment method prior to this problem, but changing payment method as a response to the problem accomplishes nothing. It doesn't work whether I'm paying through PayPal, or paying directly. Bloody annoying. Add that there is no link I can click to get some sort of interactive customer support, either. I don't want to skim through 400+ forum posts. I want to buy some music.

The iTunes store has been a hassle for me. Recently my billing info. changed so i went to make a purchase and it asked me to update it. I did and after correcting my address/credit card info it returned me to the itunes store window i had selected the song from. No download commenced. I logged back into my profile and it had the old info listed, even though i had just changed it. To top this off my credit card it charged with a $1.00 or $1.03 "authorization" fee that my "bank" will apparently remove (that's what apple support pages tell me. Any help or insight as to why my info will not update and why I am unable to purchase?

I downloaded a MP3 file. The name of the file was in russian letters. I imported it to iTunes. The name, artist, and album fields were filled. But not what I expected. They were filled with À Íà Òàíöïîëå Íåòó Ñâîáîäíûõ. Does anyone know why it does that? And how do I fix this?

I downloaded ITunes last week and transferred 50 songs from CD's onto the playlists. In the middle of one CD, it stalled out and my CD player hasn't worked since. I'm on Vista.

On recent albums purchased through iTunes, I can't view the digital and/or interactive booklets; not in iTunes 7, Quicktime player or Adobe Acrobat in Mac OS X 10.4 and Windows XP.

I'm using iTunes 7.6 for Windows XP. I have iTunes set to "Keep iTunes music folder organized" and "Copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library". Randomly, iTunes will be unable to locate the files for many songs even though they haven't been moved. If I try to play one of the missing songs, it asks if I'd like to locate it and I look for it exactly where it should be (\Artist\Album\Track.mp3) and then it will work.

This happens to at least 10% of my library and it's not always random. It will often be a bunch of songs by the same artist or a whole album. The songs affected are usually songs that I've added a long time ago. Recently added songs are fine. I'm not using an external hard drive or network drive.

Does anyone know how to fix this without deleting and readding the songs (and losing playcount and rating info), or going through the library manually?

I need to cancel my cc info on my itunes account---my daughter keeps charging on it
