In Mac OS, I really wish I could toggle between dialog buttons (e.g. Save / Cancel) using the arrow keys on the keyboard instead using of my mouse (like Windows - hate to say it). Maybe it's already possible to do this by changing a preference somewhere, but no one I've asked knows how, and I couldn't find anything in the missing manual.
Similarly, when "tabbing" through a form in a web browser, I wish it wouldn't bypass dropdown menus. I want to be able to access dropdown menus with my tab key and control my selection with the arrow (like in Windows - again, hate to say it).
I cannot add a printer.
How do I add my printer when the + doesn't work - no printer option to select
When I attempt to open printer setup utility, it flashes in the toolbar but doesn't stay and under no circumstance will it open.
How do I solve this problem?
What is an easy backup solution for OS X 10.4 (Tiger)? I was very excited about Time Capsule, but Time Capsule requires Time Machine, which is only available on OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Is there anything available for a MacBook Pro running on Tiger?
And in case it matters: I have a dual-core machine running Parallels with Windows XP. Internet, email, media apps on the Mac side. Microsoft Office on the Windows side. Would be nice to back up both, but the Mac side is the must-have one since most of my docs, ppts, etc are in a folder on my Mac desktop.
Scanner software can be quite awful. I'm looking for a scanner with proper drivers, so I can both scan quickly using Image Capture and scan straight into Photoshop Elements. Any suggestions?
To make sure that I delete all files associated with the app I am trying to uninstall, I use etiher App Zapper or App Delete.
The process is pretty straightforward, I go to my applications folder and drag the program I wish to uninstall to App delete or App zapper and that's that.
I've been trying out a couple of Adobe-AIR based apps lately and to date, I haven't found a way to uninstall them as they DO NOT appear in the applications folder.
