Why Cant I highlight my messages in Mac Mail? Last reply on June 18, 2008 17:34.
I want to be able to highlight messages in Mac Mail, or add a variety of coloured flags... is this possible? -

trouble with google's IMAP Gmail Last reply on February 13, 2008 19:51.
i've been using Gmail's IMAP functionality together with Apple Mail.app for quite a while now but for the past few weeks i've been experiencing super slow downloads for incoming mail. It's gotten to a point where receiving maybe 10-15 mails take a few hours (!). I heard Gmails IMAP system is non-standrad so this might have something to do with it. Myabe there are some settings i could twiddle to make things speed up a bit?

Hi,
When I'm adding rules to sort my mail in the mail application, each new rule makes the window longer. There's a point where there are so many rules that the bottom edge of the window extends beyond the bottom of the screen, making it impossible to click on the "ok" or "cancel" buttons. I'm new to macs, so I'm sure there's some easy thing I'm missing. any tips?
