We have a number of short (eg 5 or 10min) videos or TV shows for the kids. It would be great to be able to create a Video playlist that could sequence a few of these to plan in succession. Same as audio playlists.
When will authentication for Flickr be available on Apple TV. At the moment we cannot see a large number of photos from our library or contacts as they are private to friends and family. Allowing ability to sign into Flickr (like YouTube) would make this more useful.
Who else finds that TV show episode availability on iTunes is often spotty?
Recently The Daily Show episodes never showed up and both Colbert Report and The Daily Show episodes are often late (sometimes days). Another example, The Closer (episode 1 of season 4 aired last night) is not yet available.
If the TV networks and Apple want to keep users from resorting to BT, they need to make the experience of getting TV show episodes consistent and reliable.
I've finally kicked my old ... very old used up Mac Mini to the streets (sad to see it go) it has been good to me.
But now I'm moving to a new apt and still need a new player, i'm not sure if Apple TV is a better Choice.
As i don't watch that much tv (have a dvd player for dvds) but i do like to watch shows from p2p and online services like joost/hulu etc sometimes buy shows like project runway at itunes store.
for what I've read Apple TV doesn't have a browser? so i can't install Joost or logon to Hulu? then what about Itune shows , how does that work?
